Worldline has launched its A2A payment (account-to-account) solution, “Bank Transfer by Worldline.”
This new payment method allows businesses to handle high-value transactions, offering merchants across Europe a secure and efficient way to accept payments while expanding payment options for customers.
The solution, now available in 10 countries, will be rolled out to 14 by the end of 2024.
A Payment Solution for Merchants
With “Bank Transfer by Worldline,” businesses in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Spain can now integrate a seamless bank transfer solution into their payment systems.
By the end of the year, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Hungary will also benefit from this new service.
Merchants can accept payments from a pool of 300 million eligible customers across Europe, giving them access to a broad market of bank transfer users.
This solution particularly caters to businesses in industries such as specialty retail, the public sector, and B2B services, where traditional payment methods often fall short due to card limits and fraud concerns.
The A2A payments solution addresses these challenges by minimising declined transactions and reducing transaction costs for merchants.
Enhanced Features and Integration
The solution provides rapid settlement notifications, hassle-free refunds, and consolidated payouts, reporting, and reconciliation, aligning with the standards of traditional payment methods.
As a part of Worldline’s larger merchant services ecosystem, the payment method is already integrated into 500 merchants’ online and pay-by-link systems.
Additionally, the solution delivers a highly secure payment experience, leveraging Open Banking connections to over 3,500 banks across Europe.
This cross-border capability makes it an ideal choice for merchants operating across multiple markets, further reducing complexities in managing international transactions.
